I'm a violinist. I started playing violin when I was in fourth grade. I graduated from high school in 1972, so you do the math. I also collect coins. I have let it be known among kids in the area that I have an interest in coins . . . just by talking about coins when my daughter has friends over. I'm starting to get excited about the convention in Fort Worth later this month. I've never had the opportunity to go to the national show before, so this is a new experience for me. I always read and hear about not to clean coins, that soap and water may harm them. What about the coins in the sea in saltwater etc. I thought well museums anf big collectors keep them, do they clean these in any way? I my self dont clean coins they have their own way of beauty.
